Daily Traits Terms of Use

1. License

Daily Traits grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute the app, reverse-engineer it, or attempt to bypass its purchase verification.

2. Free tier

Daily Traits is free to download and free to use with up to three (3) active habits. The free tier includes the daily check-in screen, basic streak tracking, and core habit management. No payment is required to use the free tier.

3. Premium unlock

The premium unlock is a single, non-consumable In-App Purchase that unlocks unlimited habits and the full feature set: reminders, statistics, achievements, progress views, multiple habit groups, and data export.

• One-time payment. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no auto-renewals.
• Tied to your store account. The unlock is associated with your Apple ID (on iOS) or Google account (on Android). Reinstalls and additional devices using the same account are covered by Restore Purchases.
• No refunds from us. Refunds for In-App Purchases are governed by Apple's and Google's policies. We do not process refunds directly; please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support if needed.
• Family Sharing (iOS) and the equivalent on Google Play are supported per the respective store policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Daily Traits only for lawful personal purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to bypass purchase verification or unlock premium features without payment.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Use the app in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the service for others.

5. Your data

Your habits, completions, statistics, and settings are stored locally on your device. Daily Traits does not require an account, does not transmit your habit data to any server, and contains no advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Because your data lives only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up. Exporting a backup file is part of the premium unlock; importing a backup file is available on every tier, so a backup you already hold can always be restored. Uninstalling the app deletes its local data.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Daily Traits is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. The app is a productivity tool and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or other advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Daily Traits or its developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app. Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the premium unlock.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the app. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall the app. The disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and the premium unlock's persistence on your store account survive termination.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. For material changes, we will notify users in-app before the change takes effect. Continued use of the app after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, except where local consumer protection law provides greater protections — in which case those local laws apply.
